Hey everyone,

Today officially starts Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The t-shirt design I submitted to the CafePress Breast Cancer Donation Shop has been accepted! This is what the design looks like:


If you like the design you can purchase it at the Donation Shop, here. I do not get any money for this donation and 40% of what CafePress makes from this shop will be given to the “Susan G. Komen for the Cure or another non-profit 501(c)(3) organization with a core purpose of raising awareness and funding breast cancer research and education.”

Hey Everyone!

As you may have saw from my surprise update Sunday morning, I have been working diligently to put up as many designs as possible. I am still working on the store and am still trying to get as much up as possible. I even added a section called Philosophy Designs this week. I’ve added 17 designs to the Christian section, 1 design to the Humorous section, 8 designs to the Philosophy section, 1 design to the Pop Culture section, and 1 design to the Seasonal section. So head on over and check out the new stuff. As always, I’d love to hear your input, what you like, what you hate, what you don’t understand, whatever.

By the way, you will see a special design in the Special section. The month of October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. I donated the design to the Cafe Press Donation Shop. They will be donating 40% of the proceeds to a Breast Cancer charity. The design is not for sale on my site because I do not want to take any proceeds away from that cause. I will keep you all posted with details when I find out exactly what is happening with the design.

TPOS: UPDATE!

Hey everyone,

Due to a recent development, I have decided to post a bunch of designs in the store. You may notice that the categories have changed also. I decided to broaden the scope of the store a little. This gives me the freedom to create designs that are not 100% related to the Church, Christianity, etc. I also removed the Sub-Categories within the Christianity section. I felt that it was too complicated and I was getting into too many categories. So, head on over and check out the new designs. I hope you enjoy them.

I will probably be posting one or two designs a day for another week or so… maybe even longer.

I will keep you updated with any news and happenings and I will post next Friday about the store and any new items in it since last Friday.

Hello,

I created plenty of new designs this week for The Pursuit Online Store (TPOS), unfortunately for you I have limited myself to only put out two new items a week. Fortunately for you, I am a rule breaker and you will get THREE new items to choose from this week - plus an added bonus! That’s FOUR new items! So, without further adieu here are the new items.

Where do you go to Church? This simple image shows how Church doesn’t just happen on Sunday mornings, but everyday and everywhere.

Are you a fan of NBC’s, The Office? If so, this coffee mug is just for you. This unofficial replica looks just like the one Michael Scott drinks from on the show. You could buy the official version from NBC’s online store, but their version has an added “Dunder Mifflin” logo and they used the wrong font for the saying! You will find that this mug looks more like the real one.

As with any shirt found in The Pursuit Online Store, these designs can be purchased in many different types of shirts. As always, your feedback is welcome and appreciated.

Grand Opening: The Pursuit Online Store

I would like to announce the Grand Opening of The Pursuit Online Store!

Currently I offer a small selection of shirts with varying slogans, images, etc.

I have been in an entrepreneurial mood for the past couple of months. So I finally took the initiative and started expanding The Pursuit. You may have noticed that my blog URL is no longer http://lewayotte.blogspot.com/. Instead I made a seamless switch-over (thank you blogger) to http://blog.the-pursuit.net/. I also have a separate website at http://www.the-pursuit.net/, which is currently being worked on and is pretty much just going to be used as a portal to this blog and my new store. The site will probably be expanded if the store starts to create some revenue.

My purpose in creating a store was to provide an outlet for some of the ideas I have been having. I hope to create wares that will make us laugh, question, and think. For now I have only created shirts in my store (and one dog shirt). Eventually I plan on extending my designs to other wares, such as Mugs, Buttons, Magnets, Stickers, etc. The majority of the things I create will be related to the Journey that we are all on with Christ but some things will be just for fun.

I plan on creating one or two new designs every week. From time to time I will retire older designs, I will be introducing Limited Edition designs, and I may even have contests (with prizes) to get other people involved in designing.

So, I don’t actually expect any of you to make any purchases. But I would love it if you all would take some time to browse through the products that I have created so far and give me feedback on this post (and please be brutal). From this point forward I plan on posting one or two new designs in my store on Friday nights/Saturday mornings and will post a little about why I created them here.
