I love this comic strip! It has evoked many thoughts for me. Does the “real Jesus” only mean that they were “way off” in their portrayal of what he actually looks like. Or, could it be that the “real Jesus” means much more, that is, that people completely misunderstand what the “real Jesus” is like altogether. Which brings up another thought… if our perception of Jesus is different from the “real Jesus”, which one would we prefer, and would we recognize and start following the “real Jesus” if he presented himself to us.
Anyway, thanks for the comic strip and the thoughts! Maybe we can sell part of our tithe, share a meal, and discuss these things sometime. :)

I think your second guess is an accurate description of my intended point. You are a smart man!
I prefer the real Jesus, if he has awesome hair like in my comic strip :).
